Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PartReq (the "Service"), operated by PartReq ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
PartReq is a web-based application for submitting, tracking, and managing parts requests and inventory for businesses. We may update, improve, or change features of the Service over time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Company administrators are responsible for managing their team members' access. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the company you register.
3. Free trial, subscriptions, and billing
We offer a free trial period. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor (Stripe) and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change our pricing with reasonable notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it without authorization, interfering with its operation, uploading unlawful or infringing content, or using it to violate any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the data you and your team submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete Customer Data after a reasonable period.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
